School bikes and riding gear

FAST supplies only the best motorcycles and safety gear. When you use one of our motorcycles, full riding gear is included in your course price. You can also rent riding gear for the day if you ride your own bike, or use your own approved gear (this does not change the course price).

School motorcycles

  • 2027 Suzuki GSX-R600. A race-proven 599cc, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine in a responsive, lightweight chassis with a compact wheelbase and race-developed suspension.
  • 2026 Suzuki GSX-8S. A naked street fighter that sets a new bar for rideability and performance, with controllability and comfort for every kind of outing.
  • 2026 Suzuki GSX-8R. A mass-forward, aggressive stance with well-balanced proportions that convey performance potential.
  • 2019-2020 Yamaha R6. Since 1999 the bike of choice for serious 600 class riders and racers, with ABS brakes, large 320 mm front rotors and 43 mm fully adjustable inverted forks.
  • 2026 Yamaha R3. The third generation, released in 2025: a lightweight, compact 321 cc liquid-cooled inline-twin with linear throttle response and low vibration.
  • 2026 Yamaha R7. A middleweight that bridges the gap between the R3 and the R9, with updated styling, suspension, steering geometry, YCC-T throttle and a full electronic suite.

When you register for a course you choose the bike you want to ride, and the system tells you whether it is still available for your date.

School riding gear

  • Arai helmets. We believe Arai makes the best helmets available: its single quality standard means the helmet worn by top racers is the one you wear at FAST. Sizes from extra small to 3X-large.
  • Joe Rocket one-piece leathers. Very strong, flexible leather with body armour at the knees, elbows and shoulders, knee sliders and a dual density spine pad.
  • Joe Rocket Speedmaster boots with replaceable polyurethane sliders and shock-absorbing reinforcements at the ankle, shin and heel.
  • FIVE gloves. Racing gloves with ventilated PU knuckle shells, a carbon-fibre forearm shell, Kevlar lining, carbon reinforcements and full grain leather.
